Doug has been an associate attorney with Anderson Julian & Hull since December of 2019. He currently practices in Worker’s Compensation, Education Law, and general Civil Litigation. Prior to his tenure at Anderson Julian & Hull, Doug worked as a policy analyst for the Idaho School Boards Association.
Doug grew up in Boise Idaho, where he attended Bishop Kelly High School. He received his Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Psychology at Seattle University, where he graduated from both the University and Departmental Honors Programs and was a Sullivan Award recipient. After completing his undergraduate degree, Doug worked in Seattle as a nonprofit evaluator – using qualitative and quantitative analytical methods to help large nonprofit organizations study the actual scope of their charitable efforts.
In 2015, Doug started at UCLA Law, where he would serve as a managing editor of the Journal of Environmental Law and policy, and as a vice president of the Moot Court Executive Board. After graduating in the spring of 2018, he returned to Boise.
Doug has a passion for empirical legal studies and the social sciences; and enjoys learning about ways that technology and analytical methods can find novel applications in law.
