Scott W. Marotz

Mr. Marotz has been practicing law since September 1981. 

His practice has been both as a member and partner in several firms. From 1998-2014 he was a sole practitioner in Idaho Falls. 

Since May of 2014, he has been a member of Anderson, Julian and Hull. 

He is rated AV by Martindale Hubbell and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in litigation matters, as well as, business entities and individuals in transactional matters, primarily involving agricultural and business development.

Over the past 25 years, a significant part of his practice has involved representing Idaho School Districts both in litigation and assisting in school district’s day-to-day legal needs. 

Mr. Marotz has also spent a significant amount of time working with school districts in drafting and negotiating master agreements. 

He has been involved in both commercial and military aircraft crash litigation. As well as insurance company takeovers, international business transactions in Africa and India, and large complex commercial litigation.

Including the longest trial in Idaho history which lasted six months. He has an active litigation and transactional practice focused on education, commercial business development, and litigation.

He has been married 30 years and has three children. 

He enjoys cooking, reading and experiencing life with his wife, children, and his dog. He is also actively involved in his wife’s greeting card business.
